Paul Coltart began his long career in real estate early in 1970 working exclusively in the Northern suburbs of Wellington. At this time Newlands, Paparangi and Churton Park were new suburbs getting established and expanding rapidly. Johnsonville had very proudly just opened its new shopping mall. Since then the Northern suburbs have led the growth of residential property and land subdivision for Wellington City. Together with business partner Terry Gardiner, Paul established Guardian Real Estate Ltd in 1975 and quickly gained a dominant market share in the Northern suburbs. In 1985 they were foundation members of The First National Real Estate Network of New Zealand. At this point they changed the name of the Company to Guardian First National Ltd. In the years that followed Paul has served 17 years on the First National Board two of these as Chairman. Paul is passionate about continually improving the level of service that Guardian First National Ltd provides to its customers and clients and this dedication has been well rewarded. Supported by many long serving Sales Consultants this Real Estate Company continues to enjoy a dominant and growing market share. Paul has three children and all are directly or indirectly engaged in the Real Estate industry. With his partner and family he looks to spend his valuable spare time ‘hunting and gathering’ at Riversdale Beach, playing golf and enjoying all of the wonderful benefits that coastal living offers.
