This large coastal trophy farm, located on the western side of the Coromandel Peninsula with a 1km frontage to the Hauraki Gulf, enjoys magnificent sunsets and stunning views to the Coromandel Islands to the north. A recent boundary adjustment gives three titles within the 413ha block which has two streams, Waimana to the south and Wilson's Creek to the north. Currently the farm has approx 160ha of pasture of the total 413ha, more or less, with the balance in native bush with some fabulous stands of Nikau, Tawa, Puriri and Rewarewa. A total of 170 ha was in grassland in 1990 and could be planted to claim for carbon credits. The farm has been fenced into 20 main paddocks and 11 holding paddocks and good tracks to most parts via four main routes. Nearly all the fences are electrified and most paddocks have gravity fed water reticulation from the main water supply fed by a spring. Over the last 11 years, the farm has been a successful beef breeding operation, normally running 160 breeding cattle. Facilities include a two-stand, iconic wool shed used for the storage of machinery and hay shed. There are two yards, a couple of lean-to sheds and at the back of the farm there is a utility shed for the storage of hay. Recreational activities available include great fishing right on the doorstep in the Gulf or cruise around the bays along the coast, bush walks, horse trekking and pig hunting. This property could also suit a variety of tourist ventures.
