A greywater recycling system and 13,000-litre tanks under each house harvest rainwater will provide the water supply. We will harness solar power through panels on the roofs and store it in batteries for the power supply. These systems, combined with a passive house high-performance facade, efficient fittings, and appliances, mean that the homes are projected to have zero yearly operating costs.
