新西兰的这份可移民SOL职业清单来源于澳大利亚和新西兰共用的ANZSCO职业标准(类似于职业大典)。ANZSCO职业标准一共有998个独立职位，新西兰的这份可移民职业清单，基本上涵盖了ANZSCO中所有具有技术属性的职位。
ANZSCO规定会计移民需要担任会计职位，并且工作内容涵盖以下内容;
assisting in formulating budgetary andaccounting policies；
preparing financial statements forpresentation to boards of directors, management, shareholders, and governingand statutory bodies；
conducting financial investigations,preparing reports, undertaking audits and advising on matters such as thepurchase and sale of businesses, mergers, capital financing, suspected fraud,insolvency and taxation；
examining operating costs andorganisations' income and expenditure；
providing assurance about the accuracyof information contained in financial reports and their compliance withstatutory requirements；
providing financial and taxation adviceon business structures, plans and operations
preparing taxation returns forindividuals and organizations
liaising with financial institutions andbrokers to establish funds management arrangements
introducing and maintaining accountingsystems, and advising on the selection and application of computer-basedaccounting systems
maintaining internal control systems
may appraise cash flow and financialrisk of capital investment projects
