Rakaia Tidy Forest or Lifestyle Property with Income

With the "Glen" area that isn't planted, approximately 1,000m² and totally sheltered, there is an option to build a house or a hut there. In the past, the owner has set up his caravan and camped for a period every year while he tended the trees when young and latterly pruned and kept the place neat, taking any falls for firewood. Electricity is along Headworks Road, so connecting to the grid is a possibility. As the property is only a short drive (approx. 3km) from the Rakaia River and on a similar level, it is fair to expect that the water table is close enough to the surface to make finding a water supply reasonably simple.

Being only 6km from Rakaia Township or 35km to Rolleston or 60km to central Christchurch, this would be a great escape spot or even base to commute to the city.
