We are seeking a Receptionist/Office Administrative Assistant to join our team at the New Zealand Embassy in Beijing.
The Embassy represents the New Zealand Government to the highest standards of professional excellence in diplomacy, trade, international development as well as delivering consular services for New Zealanders in China.
The Receptionist/Office Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing telephone and reception services as well as general administration support across the corporate team to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the office. The Receptionist/Office Administrative Assistant also provides back-up support to the Finance Officer and the EA to the Ambassador and will provide some assistance to the consular team as required. The work is varied and interesting with a strong customer focus.
We are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as having strong numeracy skills. The successful candidate will be highly efficient with MS Office systems; and preferably have at least three years’ experience in a similar role. If this sounds like you, and you are a team player, have good organisational skills, are motivated and enthusiastic and have excellent written and oral skills in both English and Mandarin, then you could be the person we are looking for.
