Let me introduce myself. My early years were spent in Matamata Whatawhata. I started my working career at the Electricity Power Board in Hamilton.

I completed my Electric Linesman Degree at the Waikato Polytech and after 10 years moved to Tauranga around 1980 to work for the Tauranga Electric Power Board.

I had always wanted to be my own boss, so I started up a Commercial Cleaning Business which was very successful. In that time I married Marion and together we grew the business further. We sold that to start up a lunch bar, which we sold to start up a new franchise business selling stationary and educational books to schools and businesses. During that time my area achieved the best sales in the Company on a regular basis and also the top sales in New Zealand & Australasia over 2 consecutive years.

For the past six years I have been tiling, doing some handy man work and renovating properties whilst still finding time to enjoy my hobbies of fishing, gardening and cooking.

My dream job has always been to get into Real Estate and I am now half owner of Tauranga First National, a well respected Company in the Bay. Through my years with Tauranga First National I also won the title of Sapphire Award Winner 2008 - 2009 for the total amount of sales for the year.
