Lee Vertongen AREINZ

Born and raised in Palmerston North, I have over 15 years of experience in property management, lifestyle and residential sales as well as project marketing in both Australia and New Zealand. My strong local and international knowledge of all real estate matters is bolstered by the rigorous training I underwent to attain not only my real estate license but also my AREINZ branch managers license at Massey University. This passion and dedication I hold also saw myself reach great sporting achievements having represented New Zealand in Cycling at the Olympic Games in 1996 and 2000 as well as the Commonwealth Games in 1994, 1998, 2002.

The Professionals is my family business that I have proudly been involved in since its inception in 1992. After dedicating 8 years to our business across the Horowhenua and Manawatu regions, I took up a new challenge in 2006 and moved to Sydney where I worked for 6 years with NG Farah - Sydney’s premier coastal real estate agency. During this time I achieved personal sales in excess of $250 million in Sydney’s eastern suburbs representing Australia’s largest property developers. Those clients included, Stockland, Brookfield Multiplex, Charter Hall, T.A Global, Austcorp, Sunland, Urban Apartments, Deblasio Developments, Prince Henry at Little Bay - Beachfront development, Little Bay Cove - Beachfront development plus many individual residential vendors.

In 2012, I made the decision to move back to New Zealand to join the lifestyle and residential sales team in Palmerston North. Since moving back I have dedicated myself to our business and my clients. I believe that my attention to detail, finely tuned sales and marketing skills coupled with my results focused approach and our state-of-the-art database resources gives my clients a competitive edge when buying and selling properties.
