Kris Rasmussen

Kris Rasmussen, Principal and Director of Beaven Realty Ltd, New Plymouth. After a stint as a local bank manager for TSB in New Plymouth, followed by the Auckland Operations Manager for NZ Couriers, based in Auckland, I returned to Taranaki to embark on a career in real estate; and after 5 years in the industry and some study, I achieved the necessary qualifications and experience to successfully lead our family business into the future.

I use a ‘lead management’ style to run my business and am a strong advocate for using the most up-to-date systems available to us. As leaders in our industry, I believe it is our duty to ourselves, our businesses, our industry and of course our clients, to be continually up-skilled and abreast of the most current thinking and ‘tools’ related to real estate.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunities I have had, to share my systems in the training and coaching of some of the next generation of Professionals’ real estate salespeople.

As a ‘Naki boy’ born and bred, I am passionate about our province and take every opportunity to actively participate in our community. As a licensed auctioneer I have been able to use my skills for several community auctions so far, including the Charity Breakfast and Auction to raise funds for the Child Cancer Foundation.

I also enjoy a variety of sporting codes and have been involved in several: including rugby, roller hockey, drag racing, wake-boarding, kick-boxing and basketball. I am even involved in soccer and hockey these days through my 7 year old daughter, Milla, who is the biggest delight of my life.
