Desmond Hawkes

Des was born in Helensville in 1945 and lived locally ever since.  He purchased a Farm in Parkhurst in 1973 where he remains living today and brought up 5 children all of which were schooled at Parakai Primary and Kaipara College.  He has spent  time servicing on school committees Rugby Club committees, Chairman of the Helensville Federated Farmers and numerous community services.  A share milker was employed on the farm in 1986 and Des started selling Real Estate for Elders Real Estate, which was bought out by Century 21 in 1992.  He has continued selling for Century 21 ever since.
During his time with Elders he achieved New Zealand Top Sales person 2 years in a row, one of which he was a finalist for the New Zealand Real Estate Top Award for Rural Sales.

He is now in my 25th Year of Real Estate of which he has been in the top 21 salesperson for Century 21, New Zealand.  He enjoys his work in Real Estate and the colleagues he works with plus all those people he meets on a day to day basis.
