Brian Peacocke

Brian, who is the founding shareholder, managing director and principal of Pastoral Realty Limited entered real estate in 1988 after a 25 year period in the farming industry, the last 15 years of which involved farming on his own account in the Waikato and Hawkes Bay regions.

From 1988 to 1992 Brian worked with Brunton Patton Professionals Real Estate and in 1992 was awarded the Rrual Salesperson of the Year for the Waikato / Bay of Plenty / Gisborne District of the REINZ.

Massey University studies commenced in 1992 and concluded with a Diploma of Business Studies (Real Estate) qualification in 1993, Pastoral Realty being established by Brian during that period.

The company moved from Hamilton to new, purpose built office premises in Te Awamutu in 1995, that location continuing to be the base for present day rural and residential operations.

For a 9 year period from 1994, Brian was also a representative in the regional committee of the REINZ for the Waikato / Bay of Plenty / Gisborne District, a position which included chairing investigation / disciplinary committees, arbitration within the industry, then concluding with a period as District President.

During his time in real estate, Brian has established a reputation as being one of the top practitioners in rural real estate in the country, with an acknowledged expertise in the specific marketing of the full range of rural properties, this range including dairy units, dairy support / conversion properties and sheep and beef farms.

His extensive sales history, track record a widespread referral network amongst banks, solicitors, accountants and other rural specialists attest to his ability and his reputation for transparency of activity combined with absolute integrity and total professionalism.
