Michelle Moser

I was born and educated in the South Island. I grew up in Kaikoura and attended St Margaret?s College in Christchurch. I was very fortunate in my life to have two mothers, not many can say this. I was adopted at only five days old and grew up amongst four older brothers and parents that thought they were the luckiest family in the world to have a daughter. My parents are everything to me and I would not be what I am today without their unconditional love for me and the values that they lived by. Not only do I have them I have Prue who is my birth mother. Lucky for Prue it?s not uncommon for people to mistake me for her sister not daughter. I am pretty quick to correct anyone. I then have three beautiful sisters that I am so lucky to have. So I am luckier than most to have such a big family. In my sixth form year I was fortunate to be selected for an American Field Scholarship. I had my final year in a small town Greenfield, Missouri in the United States of America. It was amazing I also graduated in year twelve with all the bells and whistles. I would have to say this would be a high light in my life and an experience I would recommend to any one.

After returning home I attended a chefing and catering course, through the polytechnic in Cromwell. It was great fun and my passion for food and high standards certainly paid off with my results. I completed my practical chefing at Noah?s Hotel in Christchurch, it was made known to me I would always have a position to go to if I decided to take it on full time. An opportunity came up for me to go to Fox Glacier, there I worked at the local Hotel, then went on to running a caf? with one of brothers friends from School. We had great fun and it went very well. I then decided I had had enough of working the hours that my friends were out socialising. I then took up a position nannying. I loved that, and had great pleasure running the home and taking care of four little children. After a couple of years I went back to Christchurch had another job nannying and then moved to the North Island where I meet my husband John. John was in the RNZAF for 20 years; we were based in Bulls for the last 12 years, and in that time I then went into banking, with Westpac. From starting as a teller part time I went onto being the Branch Manager in a very short period of time. I loved banking and had great satisfaction working with the team and having great relationships with clients.

In that time I also had two Children. Millie 10 and Jack 7. Life is always busy but being a parent compares to nothing in this world. I think it makes you as a person, the love for them is endless, and it certainly makes me feel very blessed to have them in our lives.

Leaving the banking world was always on the agenda. My dream was to join up with my mother #2 Prue, into the real estate scene. Considering for the first 21 years of us being apart the traits between us are incredible. I joined Harcourts in July 2006, I was business manager for two years, and then surprise baby number three was on his way. George now 2 is very special. After my husband?s mother dying suddenly then my adopted Mum the year after life has a new meaning. You never know what you?ve got till it is taken away, and when you loose someone you love and cherish so much life seems never to be the same. I?m pleased to say time does heal but special loved ones remain in your heart for ever.

I have been in the industry for 4 years now. Coming from a banking back ground in management I have a strong focus on delivering great service, listening to client needs, and most of all achieving results above client expectations.

I have proven sales results and continue to grow and better myself. I pride myself on my drive. Success to me looks at continuing to achieve and aiming for the best. The most rewarding part of my job is; having happy and satisfied clients. That to me is a great day.
