This much loved combined family bach has been in the family for six years, it has been a whole lot of fun, but sadly it's time to bid this awesome bach farewell!

This traditional Kiwi bach has four good sized bedrooms that sleep nine, with extra space provided by the historic carport that is now lined, carpeted and is being used as a bunk room and sleeps another six with ease, giving the current owners an Air BNB opportunity that has seasonal earnings between $350 - $500 per night. This has catered for large family groups, working crews, and time for the owners to enjoy time at this beautiful beach when time permits.

There are two family bathrooms including a toilet, vanity, one has a shub for the children and the other has a separate shower. The kitchen has a real beach-bach feel and there is also a handy yet separate laundry space. The section is a level 850m2 (approx.) with plenty of room to pitch tents, park a caravan or two, or even a boat!

This welcoming bach invites you to come sit, relax and stay a while as you enter a large dining space that flows through to a practical, fully functional kitchen. There are two large living areas that flow through to an expansive, partially covered timber deck with a sizeable shade sale for a bit of light relief from the sun!

Although The Mint House has a very comfortable, kicked-back, come-as-you-are feel, we still have a few creature comforts with a cosy wood burner in the central living area and a heat pump for year-round comfort and convenience.

Not forgetting the beach toys and the storing thereof - there is a good-sized double garage for storage of the beach toys with room over for a car!!

Located at the north end of Kahukura Ave within a short stroll to the beach. Bring your favourite book, some togs, a fishing rod/surf board and you are set for a whole lot of summer fun with plenty of room for a family or three!

Waitarere Beach is a favourite destination for many, so why not make it yours? There is so much to offer and all the necessities are catered for with a 4 Square grocery, cafe, bottle shop, gift shop, surf club with regular patrols over summer, a multitude of off-beach activities, all the cycling/walking trails that you could wish for in north and south forests, Waitarere Domain featuring tennis courts, half a basketball court, a playground with BBQ facilities and all the beach activities you can handle - what more could a family wish for?!
