Every once in a great while I come upon a section that just floors me. I'm a country boy and a builder but have always had a great love of the sea. QUIET is everything to me so when I walked this section for the first time, I found myself just standing there listening to the birds while the sea below just lay there resting.
After building a little dive resort on a remote island in Fiji for eight years with only a handful of neighbours and not a lot of oversight, I instantly fell in love with the powdery orange sand of peaceful little Cable Bay. I needed to be close by. Looking into buying a seaview section loaded with fine print (no relocatables, no sleepouts, no campervans or launches parked in the driveway, no chickens . . no fun) I began feeling strangely compressed. NO FINE PRINT HERE.
Sailing, fishing, diving is about the opposite of feeling compressed. Doubtless Bay has all three . . . world-class. Across the road from this level acre is a 500 acre farm. On the other side is a 40 acre farm. New build above, new build below. Nothing more to say. Have a wander on it, and you tell me.
