This processing plant has undergone a full upgrade and fit-out and has been fully operational since February 2021. Current infrastructure capable of processing 70 to 90 head of prime cattle daily on one shift. Yards capable of holding 115 head.

Cold storage on site includes a side chiller for 105 carcasses plus three blast freezers.

Total floor area of the processing floor, office, staff rooms and stock yards, is 1,744 m2

Total area of the land is 6,952m2. Land lease of $26,000 plus GST pa. to Whanganui Port Limited Partnership.

Staff employed fluctuated between 40 and 50, plus a full time Vet, meat inspector and four compliance staff.
