The Waipupuke sub-division is a new greenfields 56 ha development in Drury West. The sub-division has only two residential zones - Townhouse & Apartment buildings (THAB) and Mixed Housing Urban (MHU).

The development will have modern infrastructure and services, supported by upgraded transport, including rail facilities, fibre network, potable water and wastewater systems. Government has recently announced its commitment and investment in two nearby rail stations - Drury West and Drury Central that will service Waipupuke.

Ministry of Education (MOE) has acquired land to build a college on Jesmond Rd which walking distance from Waipupuke.
