Located in the renowned Bridge Pa Triangle appellation, this property comprises some 9ha of high-yielding Sauvignon Blanc vines and another 6ha of Merlot, also high-yielding, with both varietals producing very clean, high-quality fruit. Production has remained constantly above 16t/ha for a number of years over both varietals. The vineyard was originally planted in 2000 and 2001 and is very well maintained. In 2015 9ha was successfully grafted from Merlot to Sauvignon Blanc.
The property is well-shaped and has generous headlands allowing for ease of maneuverability when undertaking vineyard spraying, trimming, harvesting etc. The Sauvignon Blanc is pruned to three cane and Merlot to two cane.
A good water consent permits irrigation when required via buried irrigation lines on every row, with the bore located near the centre of the property. Three, four-blade frost fans provide quiet peace of mind and protection, automated and remotely monitored.
