The infamous Spookers is ten minutes away, The Pukekohe Golf Club is located within the Karaka area bordering Pukekohe, further out are beautiful coastline beaches with many local sporting grounds and clubs nearby.

Schooling is sought after, starting from Karaka School and Te Hihi School, both are coeducational full primary schools (years 1–8) respectively. An interesting fact - Te Hihi School opened in 1914! Not to overlook, ACG Strathallan, New Zealand. A holistic education from Preschool to Year 13.

Karaka is also the Te Reo Māori word for Orange, which comes from the orange of the karaka fruit. In Cornwall Park karaka trees can be found all over the park, often having grown well on rocky outcrops. The land drains well and is preferable for horse grazing which attracts a lot of equestrian people.

The land on offer has been drained with major earth works being partly completed to create a flat building site and grazing paddocks. Large Gum trees were removed, so were old cattle fences. Consents were granted and information can be shared with qualified buyers.
