East Range Forest offers an established, young Pinus Radiata forest, registered in the Emissions Trading Scheme.

Established in 2022, with a small amount of infill planting in 2023, the East Range Forest consists of first rotation plantings with a Net Stocked Area of 124.6 hectares, with an average of 1035 stems per hectare. Located in an area proven in strong forestry and timber production, with high sunshine hours and relatively reliable rainfall. Contour is a mixture of Land Use Classification class of 4, 6, and 7 with a very small amount of 3.
The forest is made up of two blocks, one existing 24.9144 hectare title on the Eastern side of the Road with direct access off Route 52, and the other 103 hectares (subject to final survey) accessed through an easement across land being retained by the vendor. The property has great accessibility and good quad tracks throughout and is located 40 kilometres on an easy sealed road from Masterton, with connection capability by both road and rail to Centreport in Wellington
