We suggest several options for the property:

Option one horses.

The huge stable complex originally housed six stables and two breeding boxes. The 800m limestone based training track is still in use but only as a laneway. There are six sheltered holding pens and an all weather lunging arena, a colt paddock, a lockable tack shed and a horse wash. There are eight small paddocks near the shed and another seven large paddocks that are currently used for cattle and haymaking. Multiple access to the stop banks and river systems allows unlimited riding access. There is cover next to stable block for a large truck.

Option two, farm kill operation.

This property is currently operating as a registered Home Kill operation. As a going concern the crane truck is also available. The butcher shop is equipped with a chiller and freezers,a bandsaw, mincer and plenty of beef hooks and gambrels.

Option 3, farm.

There is 33 acres on the title in approximately 8 acres leased from regional Council and approximately 20 acres of riverside grazing. Currently trying nurse cows as well as milk powder calves and have always carried cattle through to slaughter.

There is three covered calf sheds and a covered feeding shed with a storage shed and califont all in close proximity.

The lower land can flood, but there is plenty of high ground to counteract that iand any surface water drains quickly, but this means an abundance of good grass. Last year the two hay barnes were full approximately 850 bales, and we also cut 32 bales of baleage. A mains powered electric fence unit keeps the whole property electric.

Option 4, adventure.

The adjoining rivers are renowned for trout fishing and bird life, such as ducks pheasants and quail with unlimited, stop banks and river access, in several directions. The rivers are Tukipo/ Maharakeke and Tukituki. Potential for 4×4 driving or jet boating, and trekking and hiking. 1 km gets you to the comprehensive limestone cycle and walking tracks that traverse many kilometres in different directions. The Ruahine ranges that are Popular for deer and pig hunting are one hour away maxximum and several beaches are within one hours drive.
