Opoutama Beach is an easy stroll down the road, for great swimming and boogie-boarding, or those more energetic can enjoy a long, leisurely walk along the beach to Mahia Beach township, home to the general store, pub and fishing club and the fabulous Sunday seaside markets over the summer months.
