What if anything could we do better next time or do you have any suggestions regarding and aspect of how we do things?

I was surprised how much marketing a property has improved since we last sold a house.

 

Of three agents we selected to market our property, Annette and Wayne Skinner presented a professional marketing plan that stood out head and shoulders above the rest. We thought to set a fixed price but Annette and Wayne persuaded us to put the house to auction which proved to be an excellent choice. From the time they took over our property I was impressed with the reports each week on people who had viewed the property with other agent’s and who had been through the open homes. Our first impression of Annette was a very pleasant honest beautiful person.  We later met her husband Wayne and thought they were a great team.  When we left New Zealand we decided that they were the only couple we would trust to sell our family home.  In fact before we left we told Annette we would let her know when we were ready to sell and keep in contact.  Approximately two years ago we thought we would contact her and get her to market our house.  But surprise (but not really for us) she advised us to wait as the market was a buyers’ market not a sellers.  The New Zealand market was in fact not doing so good on all fronts like it was here in Australia but on a bigger scale.  This year we spoke to Annette and this time she advised to try market the house.
