Growing up in Auckland with a tight-knit family, her nose was never far away from the pages of a book. At just 17, she earned a scholarship for future studies at AUT. Always intrigued by the human condition, the young student was torn between neuroscience and business studies. The latter won, but Tamara’s 2012 graduation with a Bachelor of Business and Marketing granted her the best of both worlds.
Once out in the working world, Tamara continued to apply the same successful approach to her career as she had in her studies; diligence, intelligence, and imagination - and it’s paid off. Tamara takes the lead marketing role for the whole of the Sue Douglas Group, incorporating four thriving South Auckland branches; Manurewa, Takanini, Drury, and Karaka.
There is no competition for Tamara’s free time; her daughter is always first on the list, closely followed by time spent with her family.
