Introducing … Sue Costello
My philosophy
Take one day at a time, but grasp it with both hands and get everything out of it you can!
My name is Sue Costello. Born, raised and educated here in wonderful Gisborne. I completed nursing training at Cook Hospital, after which I left for a one year sojourn overseas. 26 years later I returned!
Varied careers in hotel management, teaching and real estate lead me to working in Iraq during the 1983 Iraq/Iran war, where I met my Austrian Military Diplomat husband, Hubert Simschitz.
We spent the next years throughout the Middle East, after which we made a base in Vienna, Austria, while still working in Bosnia , Serbia, Croatia, and other unsettled lands.
My dealings throughout our travels have been with many varied cultures, religions and creeds.
I love and experienced every minute of our adventures, gaining a wonderful insight into people and learning to use these skills of negotiation and networking, within my business career.
As a Marketing Consultant for Ray White Real Estate, I found my skills were being put to great use and proved to be extremely successful during my first 6 years in real estate.
I love working to achieve a positive result for my vendors and purchasers.
I deem myself to be a very lucky lady in meeting so many wonderful people and having the chance to return the fantastic Gisborne lifestyle with my husband and 3 beautiful daughters … back to the loyalty and honesty of family.
