Having an extensive career in sales and marketing, Steve has a great understanding in the necessity of excellent customer service. Add to this a very competitive nature, an excellent team player and the ability to relate to people from all walks of life creates easier working relationships.

Steve has a sales and marketing background with nearly 20 years combined experience with companies such as Dominion Breweries, Amcor (Kiwi Packing) and Skellerup. Along with his wife Linda, they have spent the last ten years managing accommodation complexes around Australia and New Zealand, including owning a Management Rights business in Mount Maunganui for three years.  They have also sold real estate in Mount Maunganui and obtained real estate licences in NSW and letting licences in Queensland.

Steve and Linda have managed permanent and holiday accommodation in the competitive Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast areas and have developed very good experience in apartment management, body corporate, health and safety requirements, and understanding of tenancy legislation. They have had a track record of success in increasing occupancy and revenues of managed apartments and form great working relationships with all stakeholders.
 
Steve has been a very competitive sportsperson with moderate success in rugby, both playing and coaching, senior cricket and golf. He and his wife has spent the last six years in Australia, mainly following their family and working in different areas such as Port Macquarie, Gold Coast and Caloundra.

They enjoy getting together with family who all originate from Napier and hope to re-establish long friendships.
