Sandra Wells

I am the Property Manager for First National Mills & Gibbon Stratford. I moved to Stratford over 20 years ago, as I found Stratford a more affordable place to raise children.

While bringing up my children I studied Law, Business and Accounting. I obtained a NZ Diploma in Business NZ Legal Executive Certificate and Accounting Technicians Diploma.

I worked for a Taranaki accountant for 12 years. When my youngest went off to University I found myself looking for a new career and that is when I entered into Property Management.

I am really enjoying this career change as I love to interact with all types of people. I can commit myself to the 24/7 hours that go with the job sometimes. I feel that I go that extra mile as I care about how people live their lives. I think this helps in my role of looking after my landlords investments, while ensuring the Tenants have a suitable house to live in, that suits their needs.

I like to give back to the local community and over the years I have volunteered my time on various committees. I now volunteer as a Stratford Community Patroller which involves some late hours driving our streets or watching the town surveillance camera to make sure all is well.
