As National Director Commercial at Bayleys Real Estate, it could be said that Ryan Johnson’s experience is second to none.

With over 25 years in real estate and funds management across New Zealand, Asia Pacific and the UK, Ryan heads Bayleys’ Commercial Real Estate business and Capital Market teams.  This brings together New Zealand’s largest commercial agency with 240 brokers transacting over 2,400 deals worth in excess of $3.4 billion.

Through his local and offshore experience, Ryan has cemented relationships with investors, fund managers, government, local authorities, large corporate institutions, financial advisors, commercial trading banks and high net wealth individuals.  These complement his more recent task of managing the Bayleys’ Knight Frank agency partnership.

In October 2018, Bayleys acquired Knight Frank New Zealand to provide clients with access to its global network.  This conglomerate now provides global reach for local clients looking for offshore buyers or tenants, as well as assisting global investors to invest locally across a range of cities and sectors.

Ryan has brokered in excess of $2 billion of transactions, allowing him to confidently manage Bayleys’ extensive Commercial & Industrial division covering 15 offices nationwide.
