Robin came to New Zealand from China in 2002. Graduating from the University of Canterbury in 2007, he started his career as a Sales Representative in the food wholesale industry, where he rapidly became the top salesperson within the first six months.
Not satisfied with this early success, he had strong determination and drive towards running his own business. In 2009 Robin started his own Green Acres cleaning business. He quickly built this into a profitable business, and after a few months, purchased a second franchise, and was awarded the top cleaning franchise in 2009 and 2010 in Canterbury Region.
When the earthquakes hit the Christchurch region, Robin and his wife decided to sell the businesses and move to Auckland, returning to the food wholesale industry as sales representative. Specialising in eastern and southern areas resulted again in success for him.
Robin has the natural ability to build rapport with people. He is fluent in both Chinese and English, and this coupled with his strong listening skills allows for good and open communication with people.
Nowadays Robin lives in the Bucklands Beach area and is very much enjoying living inside the ‘top school zone’. He proudly states “The best thing I have ever done in my life is choose to live in Bucklands Beach where my two sons can have the best education in Auckland.”
In his spare time, Robin enjoys kick-boxing, boasting a few fights in both China and New Zealand. When people ask Robin why he likes the contact sport so much he always smiles and says “ that the blood inside makes me want to be a fighter”. The irony of this is that Robin is a very gentle man and loving father, and he has never had a fight with anyone in his life.
Now Robin is doing what he really loves as real estate salesperson. He brings his “fighter “attitude to his work, simply because he never gives up. More than ten years of training and fighting in the ring has taught him both courage and consistency. He is not only hard working; he’s also works hard out.
