Mike Dolan has a reputation for being honest, professional, reliable and resourceful. Mike embarked on a career in real estate driven by his genuine interest in helping people, and his significant sales experience. He originally joined Beale Real Estate on Waiheke. During the mid-90s Gulf Island’s property boom, he helped many clients realise their “Island Dream” before moving on to Beale Real Estate, Pakuranga.

Mike joined Barfoot & Thompson in 2007. Having previously worked with individual and franchised agencies, Mike could see the huge benefits of working with, and selling or buying through Barfoot & Thompson. They are Auckland wide, governed by one Agent licensee (not several), and have 65 branches employing 950 plus salespeople and assistants. All of these salespeople have the ability to sell your home. No other agency in Auckland has this flexibility.

Mike grew up in the area, - attended local schools, and has extensive local knowledge. In his lifetime, he has witnessed Panmure, Mount Wellington, Glen Innes, St. Johns and the quarry (Stonefields) transform from farm and waste land to dynamic residential and business growth areas. In his opinion, they represent great value areas to live, work and invest in.

Mike has extensive experience in sales, customer service and retail management, gained working in New Zealand and Australia. He previously worked for a major plumbing supply chain, where he built on his knowledge of the residential building industry. He still maintains a network of tradesperson contacts, - liaises regularly with builders and developers, and is familiar with many building procedures and products.

He has owned and renovated several homes of his own over the years, and knows first-hand, the challenges, triumphs, and great satisfaction of home ownership. Mike is assisted by his wife, Jennifer Yang, who simply loves helping people, and uses her decorative skills to assist clients with home presentation, to maximise your result.

Most of his business comes from past clients and referrals from other satisfied parties, demonstrating his ability to deliver exceptional customer service and results.
