Max Lyver

Max is among PGG Wrightson Real Estate Limited’s most experienced property consultants, with a depth of experience and knowledge that few others in rural real estate could match.

Having begun his career in 1986 selling farms in Central Hawke’s Bay, Max moved to leadership roles, first as national manager of Wrightson Real Estate, then as project director of PGG Wrightson Real Estate’s international portfolio business. He returned to property consultancy in his home region in 2005. Over almost a quarter of a century selling farms, he has marketed or overseen transactions worth many hundreds of millions of dollars.

An associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand and a qualified auctioneer, his professional qualifications also include a diploma in business studies (real estate) from Massey University.

Max's key strengths are his ability to build on a foundation of long-term business relationships; his marketing prowess; his understanding of rural business throughout New Zealand; and his broad network of buyers and sellers from around the world.
