中介简介

Born in Kaitaia, Mary came to Waiuku in 1961 when she married Ivan, a local farmer. Together they have three children and six grandchildren.
In 1973 they sold the family farm at Misa Road and moved into Road Transport which is still operated by family members today.

Mary is well known locally as the maker of handmade bridal gowns and through the popular Mary’s Coffee Lounge which was famous for Mary’s carrot cake throughout the 80’s. Mary has been involved in many local organisations, her most memorable having been elected as President of the Waiuku Businesses Association. In the early 70’s Mary was elected Chairperson for the deeply in debt Waiuku Netball Club and turned it into the thriving complex enjoyed today. For 14 years Mary was appointed by the Waiuku Borough Council as Chairperson for the ‘Keep Waiuku Beautiful’ committee. In 1992 Mary became a real estate salesperson and worked for 3 other companies before joining the Barfoot & Thompson team in December 2002. Mary has thoroughly enjoyed her career in Real Estate, and has watched with delight as the town she loves has grown, and in turn, she has developed diverse skills as a salesperson.

Mary’s success can be attributed to her many loyal ‘Clients for Life’. She is always up front and honest and keeps up with the trends. Her goal has always been to make buying and selling Real Estate a pleasurable experience.

Mary’s spare time is spent on her favourite pastimes of cooking, gardening and sewing but most of all spending as much time as possible with her family and friends. And if you’re very lucky, every now and then you can still find a slice of that ‘world famous in Waiuku’ delight – ‘Mary’s Carrot Cake’.
