中介简介

Confidence that the commercial sector in Tauranga will continue in strength.

Mark Walton believes his team are privileged to be involved in one of the most consistent commercial real estate markets in the country.

“The greater Tauranga region is such a desirable area with enormous demand for commercial property from within the ‘Golden Triangle’ of Auckland, Hamilton and Wellington.”

As Bayleys Commercial Manager, Mark Walton applies knowledge and expertise gained over two decades and spanning New Zealand and the United Kingdom. He has extensive experience working with clients and advisors in structuring deals to create the best outcome for investors.

Mark completed a Bachelor of Business Studies at Massey University in 1998 majoring in Property Management and Valuation, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Finance) in 2012.

Mark joined Bayleys after a 10-year career with ANZ Bank as a commercial manager, most recently Commercial and Corporate Agri Senior Manager. Prior to that he spent seven years in financial analyst roles in London including Reuters, UBS Investment Bank and Deutsche Bank.

The move to Bayleys was promoted by a keen personal interest in commercial property, as both an advisor and an investor in the Bay of Plenty region himself. He was attracted to Bayleys for the brand and reputation in the marketplace as the largest New Zealand owned real estate business with a strong family influence.

“I regularly worked with Bayleys while at ANZ and always admired and respected the calibre of both management and the sales team in the Tauranga office. It’s a people business built on relationships.”

The vibrant local market makes commercial real estate a stimulating sector to do business in.

“I have never seen so many significant projects on the go, particularly in the Tauranga CBD. Large commercial projects like the Farmers redevelopment and the University of Waikato’s new campus will help create a hub in the central city. Tauranga Crossing and the Tauriki Business Estate have also been strong contributors to the city’s commercial boom.”

Mark and Lucy Walton, and sons Jacob and Caleb, live in Mount Maunganui. Mark values family time and enjoys many sports including rugby (he is a keen supporter of Te Puke Sports rugby team) tennis and fishing.

“I am committed to the region and proud to lead such an experienced results-orientated team of commercial sales people and property managers.”
