Hi, I am Marie Hook and I would like to thank you for this opportunity. 

It is always important to know something about the person you are dealing with, therefore the following information will help you learn something about me and get a feel for my personality.

I am a Wellingtonian at heart, having been born here before spending much of my childhood in the Chatham Islands. My family moved to Tawa during my college years and since then, I have continued to be a resident in the Kapi-Mana area. My husband works in Wellington and we have two children who grew up in the region. Being an outgoing person and someone who enjoys meeting others, real estate has given me an opportunity to develop a career that incorporates these aspects.

I have enjoyed many years in real estate having previously worked for L.J. Hooker before joining the Professionals team at Double Real Estate in 2007. In 2010, Double Real Estate and Winkel Real Estate joined forces to become DoubleWinkel Real Estate Ltd. Our offices are located in Tawa, Porirua, Whitby, Paremata, Paraparaumu, Waikanae, Otaki and Levin. With a combined sales force team of 60 headed by three directors, Blair Double, Eddie Winkel and Philip Whearty. We are excited by the opportunities now available to us.

Being part of our community is important to me. I am involved with the local branch of Zonta, an international organisation that endeavours to improve the status of women. I am a volunteer for Womens Refuge. As well as having a family involvement with Paekakariki Surf Club for many years, I am committed to the Child Cancer Foundation, a key cause for the Professionals.

The Professionals in Tawa are also proud sponsors of the Tawa RSA. For every member's property that we list and sell exclusively, $500 is given back to the club.
