Hi, I'm Margaret ... 'Maggie' to my mates. My husband Darcy and I have lived in Waitara for almost all of our 52 years of marriage. It's here that our three children, Stephen, Donna and Jackie have been educated, grown up and finally flown the proverbial nest.
< I am a well certified member of the 'Granny Brigade'. We have seven grandchildren.
< I have worked in the retail sector of the town for close to 42 years - 18 of those in real estate. In 2008 I attained AREINZ status - something that helped me realise I could still handle the mental challenge of study and exams, culminating in a successful result. I have a huge passion for real estate. In 2006, I invited Kerrie Montgomerie into a partnership with me (Kerrie had previously been our receptionist from when the office opened in 2000). The partnership has proved to be a very successful move and as a team we have gone from strength to strength, not only building a very strong place in residential sales but also specialising and achieving the reputation of being the leading lifestyle team in the area. Waitara is a great place to be. I have seen many families grow up, move away and often return again.
