Qualified real estate agent in my own right, I work from home exclusivelywith Hatepe properties.  I have happily lived in this lakeside village for over 20 years enjoying the company of Residents (Lessees) when they return for their summer holidays when the village, its beach, and the river running alongside is buzzing with families biking, boating, hiking, swimming.  The quiet winter months bring the anglers back to this world-reknowned wild fishery, the skiiers back for the snow an hour's drive down the road, others for a quiet retreat from the world. 

I know the ins and outs of the village and its land lease particularly well for it is my business to know.  My agency experience over 35 years is a decade in executive positions with the Real Estate Institute of NZ Inc, followed by expanding and managing Clyth McLeod Business Sales in Auckland.  My move to Taupo came about after falling in love with this region when I came to Hatepe for a break from the Big City.  I joined Westerman Real Estate in Taupo (as it was known, now Bayleys) as their C & I agent, then applied for my own agent's licence, from time to time listing and selling businesses as well as Hatepe properties.  I have for two decades been with The Open Polytechnic of NZ as tutor/writer/marker/assessor of the REAA real estate agency courses, and am still currently under contract to TOPNZ.  See my Hatepe listings under Village Realty (Licensed REAA 2008), and give me a call to view on a walk and talk around the village.
