John’s business acumen coupled with his tenacity have been critical assets for Harcourts gold. The day-to-day running of a business spanning four sales offices plus property management and international and migrant divisions makes John a hands-on and practical business leader. Drawing on his background in the construction industry, he is an invaluable source of knowledge for the team. This intimate understanding of real estate at every level gives him unique insight: having John at the helm, Harcourts gold has an unparalleled ability to set trends and move fast. With company expansion a key responsibility, it is John’s role to navigate these new business directions. John regularly shares his expertise with other industry members, speaking at real estate conferences in New Zealand and Australia, and has also served on the Harcourts Franchise Council. In 2012 John and Lynette became the first couple ever to be inducted into the Harcourts Hall of Fame. Together, they are also the proud parents of two sons, Harry and Louis.
