I believe that people like to know a little about the person they will be working with when considering a real estate move, so the following is a little about me.
Born in Nelson in 1952 I attended Victory School, Nelson Intermediate and Nelson College before going to Otago University where I completed a Diploma of Physical education. In 1977 and 1978 I taught PE at Nayland College and then went on my “overseas experience” trip, playing and coaching cricket and rugby in Kent, England.
Obtaining fulltime employment in the 1980’s was not the problem it is now, but it wasn’t until I began my profession in Real Estate in 1987 that I found the challenges I needed. I am pleased to say I am one of the top performers in the industry, and pride myself in the service I give to my vendors.
We have also created the Haven Sports Trust and funds raised go towards the coaching of Nelson’s sporting youth. The main drive for these funds is by holding a Dinner with various sporting personalities asguest speakers. To date a wide variety of sports and their participants have benefited from the coaching clinics.
My sporting interests are now a little more sedentary then before when I fought for New Zealand at the Munich Olympics in 1972 and played for Nelson Bays against the Australians in 1978. I am still involved in cricket and I’m trying to play golf as often as I can. I “love it” but I “hate it”.
I am married to Karen who is at the moment playing golf, bridge, making cheese and going to art classes. Sarah is in London working for a “private equity” firm, and to be a client of M-Vision you need to have £20,000,000 invested with them. Nikki has just completed her Bachelor of Commerce at Canterbury, majoring in Human Resources. She is at the front desk of our Property Management Division.
