James Waldegrave

It is with pleasure and considerable pride that I inform you that I am part of the residential team at Eves Real Estate. You may well know that my father Brian Waldegrave has been in the Real Estate industry for 38 years and is a founding father of Eves. Over time I have watched and listened as Eves has grown from one office into the largest and most successful Real Estate Company in the Bay of Plenty. For me it was never really a question of if I would join the company, more a question of when.

After studying for a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at Auckland University, I have spent holiday periods indulging my passion for travel and have visited close to forty countries, mainly on surfing trips and predominantly off the beaten track, Indonesia, Mexico, El Salvador, Peru and Sri Lanka included. To fund these adventures a good friend and I started and operated 'The House Painting Company' which we grew for five years before selling on in early 2007.

In 2007 I gained my Real Estate Institute of New Zealand Qualifications to become a residential salesperson, and after a year living in France, I returned to New Zealand to follow in my father's footsteps. As with most things in my life, when I decide to do something it's with passion and commitment, and that's why it's a great feeling to be part of such a professional and dynamic team here at Eves Cherrywood.
