Hamish Drumm

Hamish grew up in Alicetown and bought his first home when aged just nineteen. He learnt building, renovation home improvement skills early in life and is happy to share this experience with his clients. Hamish has almost 20 years’ experience in buying houses, improving them, managing home rentals (property investment) maximizing the return on investment and negotiating deals. So if you’re curious about getting started as a landlord/investor, or you simply want that dream home with nothing to do but move in and enjoy the home, talk to Hamish and ask him what it will take to get you on or up the property ladder.

Hamish has strong customer service skills. He studied Event Management and formerly organised Hutt City Christmas parades including sales and marketing, sponsorship and building parade floats. Hamish also organised numerous other sports tournaments and community events around Lower Hutt.

After his career in Event Management, Hamish followed his dream to play rugby professionally in the UK, where he also taught group exercise and then performed as a personal trainer in the U.K. and the USA before managing gyms on board cruise ships where Hamish says he learnt true customer service skills as a Health and Fitness consultant, working for Steiner and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, on board “Radiance of the Seas”. Hamish chose to be a ‘Fitness and Sports’ coach because he loves helping people to reach their goals, and he sees real estate exactly the same way. He is passionate about helping people to get where they want to be – whether you’re entering or exiting the property market.

Hamish loves negotiation and thrives at the challenge of bringing a deal together; he has a gentle and patient way of treating people and believes there is always a buyer for every property.

Hamish is now an experienced real estate auctioneer; and is also available to raise money as a charity auctioneer.

When Hamish is not working he loves to spend time with his family. Hamish has a true passion for DIY and loves fishing, paua diving, touch rugby and socializing.
