I try to operate assustainably as possible - more often than not I will use my electric bike rather than my car.I am also a proud Greytown, Wairarapa and Greater Wellington region resident, having moved here from Auckland after 13 years in the “Big Smoke”. Sustainability/zero wasteTracy and I are both committed to reducing our footprint on this planet so that we can leave it in the best possible condition for our grandchildren. We subscribe wholeheartedly to the REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE sustainable zero waste lifestyle,We do our best to minimise our consumption of plastic, in particular soft plastics such as shopping bags, food packaging and cosmetic bottles.Anything we do buy that comes in a plastic container we ensure that the container is reused (Piako yoghurt and Anathoth preserve containers fill our fridge!)We buy local and organic so our food hasn’t arrived here after a lovely, CO2 emitting plane ride from South America, and we love that local businesses benefit too.
