Starting out in the automotive industry many years ago and completing his apprenticeship, Garry found his ability to communicate with customers and staff led to sales management roles early in his career.

This led quickly to business ownership. After setting up a business for his wife Raewyn, he purchased Hibiscus Garage Doors which he owned and operated for many years, working mainly in the Hibiscus Coast area.

On selling this successful business, Garry went back to a Sales and Marketing role but was starting to develop a passion for real estate sales.

Taking in to account the long record of matching people with products, solving manufacturing issues and negotiating sales, Garry brought vast skills and experience to the field of Real Estate sales. Garry is committed to making transactions happen in the best interest of the clients, through great marketing, great negotiating and closing of the deals.

Constantly watching sales in the area, following what agents were doing with their marketing and believing that he could do this as a long term career, Garry decided in late 2006 to pursue a path in Real Estate sales .He set about making his mark in the industry by obtaining and marketing some outstanding properties and undertaking many auctions. When the chance arose to increase the profile of the properties he was marketing, he went as far as to appear on the “Open Home” programmes with April Ieremia on Sky TV, giving a full visual advertisement for his vendor’s properties.

Now in 2014, Garry is a massive asset to Mackys Real Estate Ltd, Bayleys in the North. Working within a company that has advanced technology, super skilled sales people and support staff and the ability to achieve the best result for their client’s assets has made the decision easy to join Bayleys and take his real estate career to the next level.
