Frank has been involved in the industry for over 30 years. A farming accident forced a change in lifestyle from working on farms to selling them. Initially selling dairy and dry stock farms in the bay of Plenty. Frank then became involved in the newly formed kiwifruit industry sourcing land for kiwifruit development and selling orchards.
A sideways step into residential housing came next, working with builders to sell their homes and sourcing land for more housing in the rapidly expanding Tauranga area. The Mount was changing from a sleepy village, and Papamoa with less than a thousand people scattered along its coastal strip, was in for a major overhaul. Life was busy with, at its peak a thousand new homes a year were being built.
Also during this time technology was changing at a rapid pace. Realising he was in danger of being left behind Frank took time out and went back to school obtaining a ‘Diploma in Computing’ which has seen him keep pace with the changes. The Internet changed the way we did business. No longer will people wait for the weekly papers to look for property. They now have new properties and associated information at their fingertips instantly and will usually do their own research before notifying us of their interest.
