Hi, I'm Eddie Winkel, AREINZ, Director of DoubleWinkel Real Estate. I joined the industry back in 1976 as I needed a challenge and wanted to be master of my own destiny. There have been many challenges and changes since then and hopefully there will be many more - and that's what motivates me. I'm passionate about the industry and about creating a fantastic business. I want us to be recognised by our staff, clients and the community as the most responsible, professional and best in the business!
Clients and colleagues often remark it's my enthusiasm and drive which sets me apart. Making sure I achieve the best possible results for my vendors, purchasers and staff, ensuring they meet or exceed their goals.
Having a committed and supportive team, watching them develop and succeed gives me a real buzz. It's an old cliche but one I firmly believe in - 'do unto others as you would have them do to you'. It's been a key focus of mine which is definitely paying off.
I am really fortunate to be supported at home by my lovely wife Nila and with our three children Drina, Lance and Damon having all flown the coop, I have all the more time to focus on real estate with some time off for good behavior to work out at the gym, do some trail bike riding and a spot of skiing - to keep me on my toes!
