Debra Young

Debra was born and educated here in Balclutha and at the age of 17 she craved adventure and headed off to Australia where she studied at Petersham tafe and Blacktown College in fashion pattern making and grading. She worked as a CAD operator in the fashion industry for many years which was a very challenging role, but one she enjoyed immensely. Debra lived and worked for 18 years in Sydney but the yearning for New Zealand never went away, eventually bringing her home. She lives locally with her son Flynn who is 6 years old and a “real wee cracker he keeps me grounded and reminds me how important family is”. Debra joined the Harcourts team in 2004 and has never looked back! She passed her Real Estate License and took over the role as Property Manager and discovered a real passion for property management. Debra enjoys settling people into new homes and enjoys working with a diverse group of interesting people.
