David Clifton

David started his career in Melbourne, which is a city recognised internationally as the auction capital of the world because of the sheer volume of real estate auction activity practised there. He immediately knew that he
wanted to become involved in the process when he saw his first employer call the shots in Mt Eliza. From that moment on it was onward and upward as he rapidly became a star of the local team. His natural aptitude and
determination then saw him rise to become a shareholder and director of a Melbourne real estate firm which operated five offices. But it wasn’t long before his interest was piqued by what he identified as a massive and exciting potential for auction marketing across the Tasman in New Zealand. In no time at all he was working for one of the larger operators as Auction Manager.
In terms of professional qualifications, David is a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Australia, an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand and a licensed real estate agent and auctioneer in Australasia; he is also an Associate of the Australian Institute of Management. He is Principal Officer of Eastzone Realty and he is also the primary auctioneer for all the branches of Eastzone Realty in Howick/Pakuranga and BCRE Ltd in South Auckland.
