Chris Reade

Prior to embarking on his real estate career in 1999, he worked overseas as an analyst in the investment banking arms of Schroders and Natwest in London, and was at PwC in Toronto prior to that. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, previously at PwC in Auckland before transferring to Toronto.

Chris grew up on the Shore, attended Rosmini College in Takapuna and has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from The University of Auckland. While working and living overseas for 5 years he travelled extensively throughout Canada, USA, Europe and Asia and travel remains a main interest. After having lived on the Shore for over 30 years and currently residing in Mairangi Bay, his knowledge and sales history of the area is extensive. He also has a close working relationship in his office with Lucy Gu, one of the top Chinese agents in the group, ensuring an efficient and effective interface with the active Chinese market.

Consistently a top performer, Chris has received awards for being in the top 10% of salespeople. Chris was also a Branch Manager from 2005 to 2008 and returned fully to the sales role in 2009 where his true passion lies. He is a Licensed Agent and qualified Branch Manager under the new Real Estate Agents Act 2008, able to supervise Licensed Salespeople. This is proof of his experience and sound knowledge of the business.

The majority of Chris’ business comes from his extensive database of past clients – repeat business being the strongest business. His clients know him as the sublime professional, balancing a focussed yet friendly approach to negotiating the best possible outcome for all his vendors.
