PERSONAL PROFILE
My  maternal forebears  ‘the  Francis  family’  arrived  from  Ireland  in  the  early  1900’s  and  settled  on  400  acres  in  Omokoroa  as  dairy  farmers.    We  currently  live  on  an  orchard in Esdaile Road, Pahoia.  My daughter Brittany has just completed her NCEA Level 3 and is off to explore the world, before deciding on a career.
 
I  was  born  in  the  United  Kingdom  while  my  parents  were  travelling  around  Europe on  a  working  holiday.    They  returned  to  New  Zealand  with  two  children  ­  so  much for the holiday!  
 
On  returning  to  New  Zealand  we  settled  in  Auckland  where  I  attended  St  Heliers primary  school  and  Epsom  Girls  Grammar  school.    I  later  returned  to  Epsom  Girls’ as  a  teacher,  after  completing  a  BA  Degree  from  Auckland  University  and  a  Secondary  Teachers  Diploma  from  the  Auckland  College  of  Education.    I  specialised  in Art and Art History, but also studied Education, English, History & Anthropology.   
 
My  desire  to  travel  then  lead  to  my  decision  to  work  for  Air  New  Zealand,   
I trained as a flight attendant and spent 10 years working and travelling within New Zealand  and  overseas.    A  great  job  for  a  single  person!    Travel  has  broadened  my  experiences and appreciation of other cultures.  
 
While  working  for  Air  New  Zealand  I  also  studied  Interior  and  Landscape  design and completed further interior and colour courses after I left Air New Zealand.   
 
I  divided  my  time  between  interior  design  and  motherhood  while  also helping my husband with his vehicle importing business, until I joined the Real Estate Industry.   
 
I  enjoy  all  aspects  of  art  and  design.  I  am  a  member  of  the  Interior  Design  Guild,  which  has  enabled  me to have first hand  knowledge of the latest design  trends and  and  industry  directions.    My  design  knowledge  and  skills  have  proved  to  be  invaluable  to  clients  ­  whether  it  be  giving  design  advice  to  a  vendor  thinking  of  refurbishing  before  selling,  or  to  a  purchaser  looking  for  ideas  to  improve  a  prospective  pur­ chase.  
 
I  also  enjoy  walking,  gardening  and  helping  with  school  fundraising,  as  well  as  actively participating in school educational activities.

Since  joining  the  Real  Estate  Industry,  I  have  enthusiastically  embraced  all  aspects  of  a  career  in  Real  Estate.    I  regularly  attend  courses  relevant  to  the  Real  Estate  profession  and  bring  to  the  industry  –  Time  management  and  effective  communication  and  negotiation  skills  which  have  played  an  important  role  in  my  success in all my chosen fields.  
 
I  have  over  25  years  experience  in  customer  service  and  the  ability  to  work  as  an  individual  and  as  a  member  of  a  team.    I  am  focused  and  I  am  a  goal  setter  with  a  strong  code  of  ethics  and  achieve  objectives  by  determination,  skill  and  experience.  
 
Most  importantly,  I  have  a  passion  for  Real  Estate  and  enjoy  my  role  in  finding  solutions to my clients’ Real Estate needs, by providing that personal touch and go­ing that extra mile.
