Keen golfer and mountain biker Mike Hotchin reckons selling real estate is like his favourite sporting pastimes – a lot of work on the uphill slopes, but when you lock in a sale, it makes those hard yards undertaken on behalf of the vendor all the more rewarding.

And with 26 years residential real estate sales experience to his credit, Mike’s sales success score card has certainly got its fair share of cracking rounds to it. Much of that has been the repeat business generated by customers who have bought and sold with Mike several times over the decades.

With nine years voluntary service on the board of trustees at Westlake Boys High School, Mike is well versed on the art of political diplomacy required to ensure a successful outcome from any negotiation process. And as a supporter of his children’s swimming and cycling teams, Mike knows the motivational ‘trigger points’ to pull, in order to get the best out of all parties involved in the sale and purchase negotiations.

Mike fervently believes that every day brings with it new opportunities and experiences, and it is that philosophy which feeds a dogged desire to chase the best buyer outcome for his vendors - by treating every new listing as a stand-alone project requiring super levels of enthusiasm and marketing creativity.
