They met in the lobby of the Hotel Parkside at 100 Greys Avenue, the target was in the apartment on the first floor. The layout was described to them as 33sqm Freehold Studio Apartment that was perfect for an owner/occupier or an investor.
The building was safe and a security key was needed to operate the lift but luckily the target had left the swipe with the hotel reception. They picked up the swipe and made their way up to the first floor. They used the security swipe to unlock the door and entered the apartment.
It was empty, the target wasn't there. The apartment appeared furnished with two large double beds, a TV on the wall, table and chairs, kitchenware and clean towels. The apartment was empty and so they move out to the large balcony where they spotted the target! Where was the target going? They knew Queen Street, Aeotea Square, Auckland University, Karangahape Road and Sky City were a short walk away and there was great access to public transport in and out of the city.
The target was gone, but the apartment is still there, waiting for the next person to move in. They will need to move fast as these are popular and aren't often available. What happens next? Come to the open home and find out!
